Effective 23 October 2026
Fusion Church Hyderabad (“we”, “us”) runs this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect through it, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The short version: we only ask for what we need to stay in touch with you and care for our church family. We never sell your information, show you ads or use tracking analytics.
What we collect and why
| When you… | We collect | So that we can |
|---|---|---|
| Send us a message on the Contact page | Name, phone / WhatsApp number, topic, message | Reply to you and help with your visit, prayer request or question |
| RSVP to an event | Name and phone number | Know who is coming and follow up as a new or returning visitor |
| Sign in to My Fusion | Your Google account’s name, email address and profile photo | Recognise you and show your groups, events and history |
| Become part of the church | Name, phone, home location, membership status, baptism date, ministries and home teams you’re part of, family notes, and pastoral follow-up notes added by our team | Care for you, organise ministries and keep in touch |
Online giving is not yet available. When it is, payments will be handled by our payment provider and we will never see or store your card or UPI details.
We also show photos from church life on this site. If you would like a photo of you or your child taken down, tell us and we will remove it.
Who can see it
Only church staff and volunteers who need it, and only the parts their role requires. For example, ministry leaders see their own team, and only finance staff and administrators can see giving. Phone numbers, messages and pastoral notes are encrypted in our database.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We use these service providers to run the site, and they may only use it on our behalf:
- Auth0 (Okta) handles sign-in. Its data centre for our account is in the EU.
- Google provides “Sign in with Google”, and the YouTube sermon videos and maps embedded on our pages.
- Our hosting, database and file-storage providers store the website and its data. The website runs in Singapore.
- A payment provider will process gifts once online giving launches.
We will also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in and protects our forms. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The embedded YouTube videos and Google maps may set their own cookies when you play or interact with them; YouTube videos load in Google’s privacy-enhanced mode.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are connected with the church, and delete it when you ask us to or when we no longer need it. Records of gifts are kept, with your name and phone removed if you ask us to delete your details, for as long as Indian tax law requires.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you,
- correct or update it,
- delete it,
- stop using it, by withdrawing any consent you gave, and
- let someone you nominate act for you.
You can also raise a complaint with us, and if we don’t resolve it, with the Data Protection Board of India.
